The Village of Williamsburg has adopted a Housing Code that defines minimum standards for the maintenance and upkeep of all structures and yard areas within the municipal corporation of the Village. A complete copy of the Housing Code is available below.
The Village of Williamsburg has adopted Clermont County Subdivision Regulations and applies these standards to all new residential developments within the Village. You may access these regulations by clicking on the link below.
Failure to comply with the Village of Williamsburg Zoning Code and/or Housing Code can result in the issuance of a Non-Compliance Letter issued by the Zoning Administrator.
Failure to bring the property into compliace by the time specified in the letter could result in a citation to Mayor's Court.
Citations may be issued for violations such as:
- overgrown yards or noxious weeds
- failure to maintain property or structures
- building a structure without a permit
- presence of trash, debris, or other material in yard areas
Zoning Violations that are cited to Mayor's Court, generally result in fines and court costs.
